The book is an easy read and suspenseful. It also lets a person know that there are ways to resolve getting rid of unwanted and harmful spirits.
Liked the story of each character. Brought to life by the Arthur. Will read more from James Matheson. Good read
This book keeps you on the edge at all times. I found myself up late at night reading, not wanting to put it down. This book was intense and drew you right in to it. Can't wait for your next book to come out. Thank you for a great read. Two big thumbs up.
This book is about as bland as it's possible to be. The characters are shallow, don't behave plausibly and are all too good to be true. Even the entity that is bothering them seems to have lost the will to try very hard...nobody is particularly scared...I certainly wasn't..skipped to the end in the vain hope that some point to the whole thing might be revealed, but sadly not!
I just wrote a review for Matheson's SIGHT UNSEEN. This book serves up more of the same young adult "scary" story with some porn thrown in to keep the boys happy. From now on I will remind myself that many positive online reviews are from people who rarely read. As it says on the back cover of another Matheson book, "I'm not normally a fast reader or enjoy reading, but this one held my attention and I couldn't put it down."
This book was one of the books recommended by . It is an easy read and is a good ghost story. I read the whole thing in a couple of hours,so it is a fast read. I think you will enjoy it if you like stories that are a little scary and fun to read.
It seems to be my week to read really bad books.Out of 3 this one was not the worse but sure was not good either.I found myself skipping pages just to get through it.The mother's reaction to what was going on did not ring true,or the little girl who came across more mature than anyone her age would be in this situation.All in all since I got it for free with my prime membership and since I did find at least the editing well done so I gave it a 3 star.
